Stylish
Orbit provides an elegant way to present beautiful image-based slideshows, whether they be within your page's content, or in an ExtraContent area as a banner for your page, as seen above.
Linkable
When inserting images into the Orbit stack you can easily use Stacks' to add links to your images, as you would link to anything else. The allows for images within your sliders to link to other pages, as seen in this example:
Multiples
Orbit allows you to do an interesting thing with your slide shows. You can set a minimum and maximum number os slides to be shown at once. This allows your slideshow to present more than on slide at a time. This example shows a minimum of 2 slides at a time, with a maximum of 3 slides at a time. And it is all responsive. This slider also has transition styles enabled, using the out and back effect:
Auto-play
In this example we've disabled the navigation arrows on this as well as placed the navigation dots below the slider. This samples also has auto-play enabled. This allows the slider to advance on its own, at a set interval, until your visitor manually advances the slideshow:
Different directions
In this example the slider mode has been set to vertical scrolling. While the default style is a horizontal scroller, you can also choose to have the Orbit slider scroll vertically or fade from slide to slide. Due to limitations the multiple slides option does not show multiple slides when using the Fade style.
Ticker
Orbit includes a unique 'ticker' mode which allows for continual scrolling. This mode, along with a high transition speed value, allows for a nice news ticker style slider, but with images instead of text, as seen below:
