Cafe is a beautifully styled theme with a unique look and feel. We have five different signature shelves to choose from, along with good looking shelf badge with a variety of shelf badge icons.

We’ve made it simple and easy to use. Once you see it in action and use it, you’ll probably wonder why it hasn’t been done before. Learn to use it in our Cafe tutorial videos, located to the right.

Features
Header
The Cafe theme is a great RapidWeaver template for showing off your content. This starts in the content of your site, but extends to banner images that perch themselves on Cafe’s unique shelf designs.
This theme comes packed with 30 beautiful, professional stock header photographs, all of which are editable with RWmultitool. In addition to all of these editable, stock banner images, we also provide you with a simple code snippet that will let you use custom images from your RapidWeaver 5 Resources.
This theme also has 9 different, built-in slideshows, which allow you to choose from 6 different, unique slideshow animation styles. You’re also able to choose from several slideshow pause durations as well.
There are 5 shelf styles to choose from as well as a variety of shelf badges and shelf badge icons. You can even hide the shelf if you don’t need it. This can be done on a page-by-page basis.

Background
This theme features 15 different background styles, which are wonderfully coordinated with the horizontal navigation’s inset area as well as the theme’s built-in social badges.
Width
You can choose from 6 different content widths in this theme. Width range from 478 up to 1,048 px in size. Cafe automatically hides the sidebar when you set the width of your content to either 478 or 592 px to give you the most space for your content.

We’ve provided a huge variety of color picker options for the Cafe theme. You can hand select the colors for the following elements using just the RapidWeaver color picker:

We’ve also provided several font sizes for the title, slogan and body text. You’re also able to hide the title and slogan on a page-by-page basis.
Blog
Cafe’s blog features the same wonderfully innovative Blog Entry Topper feature that was introduced in the Crisp theme. The Cafe theme allows you to place large images above the title of your blog posts. This is a feature found in many other platforms like WordPress, ExpressionEngine and Tumblr, so we brought it to RapidWeaver in this theme.
By simply changing the alt tag of an image you can place an image at the top of each individual post. For details on using this feature you will need to watch the tutorial covering the Blog Entry Topper in the tutorials section above.
We think you’re really going to love this feature as it will add a lot of personality and flexibility to your site and blog!
We’ve also included the ability to use a blog badge on your entries as well as a variety of styles for these badges.
Site logo
The site logo for the Cafe theme appears just above the site title. The site logo feature is quite flexible in Cafe. It can be as tall as you’d like, and it’s width can be up to, but not greater than, the width you’ve set for the content area.
ExtraContent
Cafe features three perfectly placed, beautifully styles ExtraContent areas.
The first ExtraContent area is located just above the content area and below the site title and slogan.
The second of the ExtraContent areas is located at the top of the content area above the content and sidebar.
The third ExtraContent area is located at the base of the theme just below the main content area.

Code
Cafe ships with RapidWeaver Code Snippets for social badges, custom banner images, custom slideshow, and ExtraContent areas. Check out all of the informative tutorials above to learn how to use these various snippets.
The Cafe theme includes jQuery built right in.
Misc
The Cafe theme comes with two Photo Album styles. One option is to use RapidWeaver’s built-in gallery style, which provides a page of photos that when clicked on take you to a new page with the larger photo.
The other option is to have the RapidWeaver photo album work as a lightbox page. For those unfamiliar with the notion of lightbox, it is when you click on an small image and then have the larger image appear, floating on top of the page with a faded out website in the background.
Be sure to look at our live preview site to see the lightbox in action.
The lightbox feature is not compatible with IE 7. Instead of the lightbox, IE 7 users will be presented with the standard RapidWeaver photo album.
Theme FAQ
Cafe has a built-in FAQ. This feature let’s you get quick answers to your questions. Chances are if you’ve got a question, others have had the same thought as well, and this is where you’ll find those answers. You must be connected to the internet to access the FAQ via the theme variations in the Page Inspector.
Be Social
Cafe offers a series of snippets that come with your purchase that allow you to place very stylish social badges at the bottom of your site design and link to some of the most used social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and more.
Supported browsers
Our themes support a wide variety of web browsers. We test each theme in these modern browsers to make sure that your sites will look good, and function properly. We highly suggest Safari on the Mac and PC as it is one of the most standards compliant browsers on the market today.
