Beautiful

A visually stunning RapidWeaver theme that is flexible and robust. Includes slideshow headers, a beautiful drop down navigation, is as smart as it is good looking and more.

Stand out

Build a professional, custom looking website in no time at all. Create features tons of professionally crafted headers as well as a multitude of different header slideshow options.

Innovative

Create brings you something entirely new to RapidWeaver. Blog Entry Thumbnails. It's something that is often seen on WordPress sites, so we wanted that same goodness in RapidWeaver.

Elegant

Create also features an elegant, smart drop down navigation system that will let your visitors maneuver their way around your site with ease, and do so in style. Our best navigation system yet.

Check out the Elixir Box Kit 2

blogEntryThumbnailThe premise of the new Box Kit is much like that of its predecessor. This new version however takes things to a whole new level.

This PSD contains a totally reworked box design with new stylings and new options. The whole thing was redrawn and was done with PhotoShop's vector-based shapes and layer styles. It includes logos for the sides of the box, optional packing tape layers, objects to fill your box with, and a whole lot more.

The Box Kit is free to download and can be used for anything you like. The only thing that is not allowed is the reselling or repackaging of it. You cannot sell it or its parts.

This is an example of a block quote in a blog entry in the full body of the text. It too displays in a way to draw attention to itself and give the user a nice entry point into the article. Choose your blockquotes wisely.

Give Box Kit 2 a download and let me know what you think of it. As always I'd love to see how you're using it in your designs, sites and apps!

This blog entry is also using the Blog Entry Thumbnail feature. It however, unlike the above entry, is using an image whose width is greater than 128 px. The theme has scaled it down to fit the area though.

Create a linen texture in Photoshop

Within Apple's iOS there's a linen texture that lurks behind everything.

Double-click the home button on your iPhone to bring up the multi-tasking bar, or create a folder on your home screen and you'll see a soft, elegant, dark linen texture. It is one of the many things in the iOS that helps to give the environment a warm, human feel.
Your note goes right here, and will display in the blog's margin. Be sure to highlight this line and choose Ignore Formatting from the HTML menu located in the Format menu when using it.

This texture can be found elsewhere in the iOS and has popped up all over the web, as tends to happen with things Apple designs (see: aqua buttons).

This fabric look is pretty easy to achieve in Photoshop. We’ll walk you through it step-by-step. Whether you’re a Photoshop guru or just an amateur you should be able to follow along with this tutorial.

You can check it out on the Elixir blog.
