Say hello to the Bamboo theme for RapidWeaver
The Bamboo theme is a very flexible, multi-purpose RapidWeaver theme that works great for everything from business to personal sites. Bamboo is responsive based, allowing it to adapt to both the desktop and the mobile marketplace! It also allows you to only have to build one site, which will work great for both desktop visitors as well as those on their iPads and iPhones!
Bamboo offers a unique new approach to several of its ExtraContent areas. It also provides great drop down menus, a nice looking blog, a stylish, unique shelf area, and much more. This theme also uses the RapidWeaver Resources area to handle your custom banner and background images for your site!
As with many of my recent themes I've also included a built-in theme FAQ as well as a great lightbox gallery option for the Photo Album page, along with some cool new Photo Album Decorations. And we can't forget that Bamboo also has our ever famous Blog Entry Topper feature.
Be sure to check out the product page for this new theme to get all of the details of the theme's many variations. In addition to details regarding theme variations, you'll find several screenshots of the theme, a live preview site and several great walk-thru videos!
Also included on the product page are a variety of tutorial videos that help you learn to use the Blog Entry Topper, guide you through the banner images, the basics of responsive sites and much more!
Be sure to also check out our in-depth 'Building a Simple Site' video in which we walk you through creating some pages in the new Bamboo theme:
Building pages with Stacks
Stacks is the perfect tool for building pages with the Bamboo theme. Its flexbible nature and the plethora of great, responsive plugins for Stacks makes it an ideal choice for your responsive site designs.
If you don't already own Joe Workman's Responsive Layout stacks or his Fluid Image stack, be sure to check them out. They're a perfect pairing for the Bamboo theme!
