Introducing the Cake theme for RapidWeaver
The Cake theme is a continuation of my goal to do more themes that have a distinct, unique style to them. This theme is a beautiful template for RapidWeaver with a unique layout and design which highlights your content.
Cake not only has a unique layout and design but it also has some great features like a built-in theme F.A.Q. as well as a specialized banner slideshow feature, and several ExtraContent areas. It also features many of the options that we've made popular in our latest themes like the Blog Entry Topper, photo album LightBox, social networking badges and more.
I've created a full list of all of the Cake theme's variations on the live preview site here. Be sure to check out the product page for this new theme to get ll of the details of these variations.
In addition to details regarding theme variations, you'll find several screenshots of the theme, a live preview site and a great walk-thru video. Also included on the product page are a variety of tutorial videos that help you learn to use the Blog Entry Topper, guide you through the banner images and slideshows, help you get social with the social badges, and much more!
I truly hope you enjoy using this beautiful, unique theme as much as I did in designing and developing it.

Kudos on the new Cake theme! It looks great. I don’t build many websites anymore as I’m retired now. But I do still follow what’s happening with RapidWeaver et al. I’ve bookmarked the Cake preview page in my list of fav themes if the need for a new one comes along.
Some feedback for you on your site: As I said I’m retired, and also age 63 now; so my eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be. Fo some reason your site does not respond to the usual “Cmd +” to increase the font size. I use that (and “Cmd -”) so extensively that I’ve linked them to the sideways (left/right) click of my mouse wheel. That works superbly for me except on your site. I wish you could change your site to respond like almost all others do. I’m sure I’m not the only one who needs larger display test on web sites. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

Love the Cake theme. We just launched the redesign of our site, http://yourbagtag.com using Cake. It is our first RapidWeaver project/site having evolved from Sandvox. LOVE the flexibility and the way it works with iPhone/iPads. Do wish the custom banner images were height adjustable. Thanks for a great set of products.
