NCD introduces Lynx Stacks plugin
Nick Cates, who is well known as a theme designer and developer for RapidWeaver, has just released his first stacks plug-in today.
It is a beautiful add-on with a great interface. Here's a brief description from Nick:
"Lynx is a 'space hog' stack that assumes you have many things to link together, like tee-shirts, artwork, various packages, music albums, songs, etc… Lynx was made to act as a full scale e-commerce store, downloads area, or good ole' fashion external link farm. Lynx is not meant to be squashed into a nested super-tiny stacks container, it's meant take up a lot of space - with other stacks either above or below it."
Hop on over to NCDThemes and give it a look.
A meeting of the Silicon Valley minds
This is one of many, many great photographs on the 'Awesome People Hanging Out Together' site. You'll likely spend a good amount of time just scrolling through all the photos on this site. I know I have.
Yabdab hosting special for RapidWeaver users
The folks over at YabDab know it can be frustrating for RapidWeaver users when choosing a provider to host your site. So they've setup a special hosting plan just for you, the die hard RapidWeaver user. A place to host your site where all things RapidWeaver just work.
A spectacular view from the heavens
This is just an incredible shot of the space shuttle taking off from Cape Canaveral, as viewed from an airplane.
It astounds me what we as humans can do, as well as makes me so incredibly sad that space flight and exploration are getting the cold shoulder from most Americans. What I would not give to journey into space.
The force is strong with this one
Volkswagen has a new advertisement out that I'm assuming is meant for the Super Bowl this coming Sunday.
It is the epitome of adorable and geeky, all wrapped into one 60 second commercial.
YourHead releases Kiwi 2.0
From YourHead's press release:
YourHead Software today is excited to announce the release of Kiwi 2.0, the customizable Twitter client for Mac OS X. Kiwi 2.0 is now free (with ads), supports tabs and multiple windows, and provides quick and easy access to user profiles. Kiwi 2.0 is more customizable, has new themes, and provides features such as picture posting, @name completion, and more. In addition, Kiwi 2.0 still supports rules/filters, account groups, saved searches and more.
While I did a lot of work with Isaiah on the first release of Kiwi, both the main app icon and much of the user interface, I can't take credit for much on this release. Much of the greatness that is Kiwi 2 is all Isaiah. And it is beautifully done.
Kiwi continues to be a great Twitter client for the Mac and has some outstanding features.
Be sure to give it a try. You won't be disappointed. It is now completely free with ads (or $9.95 to remove the ads).
You can get Kiwi here as well as read about all of the other new features, as there's a lot of new stuff not outlined above!

SymfoniP releases BlackOut Pro stack
Built for Stacks 1.3 and maximising the use of the Stacks API, Blackout Pro Stack is a unique stack, providing an elegant fade-in similar to that seen on Apple's homepage after the launch of their new MacBook Air. It transitions images, text stacks and more, providing a slick elegant effect.
