Linked Shelf Items now possible in the Shelf Stack v1.1.5
Since the Shelf Stack was released it has garnered a look of praise and compliments. People have also asked about possible future features since it first dropped as well.
Those two feature requests that I hear asked for most often are:
- The ability to disable the LightBox and instead add a link to the thumbnail
- The ability to use the great carousel and LightBox of the Shelf stack, without the shelf graphics.

Introducing the delicious new Drawer stack
Today sees the introduction of the Drawer stack -- a fun, and highly functional, new addon for Stacks. This stack allows you to add a collapseable / expandable drawer to the top or bottom of your Stacks page to contain your content and help in organizing your page a bit in the process.

Today Google made an update to their hosted version of jQuery, the javascript file the Stacks plugin uses, bringing the library up to version 1.9. This javascript file is what powers a lot of the javascript capabilities of stacks addons.
Due to the changes that the jQuery development team has made to the library some addons ceased to function correctly in Stacks, and on published pages.

Last night hurricane Sandy made landfall in the Northeast United States. This is where our distribution service, CartLoom is located. Due to loss on connectivity in the area they are experiencing major down time.
With our shopping cart srevice offline this means that some pages on the Elixir site which have cart access, such as theme pages, stacks pages, icons pages, etc, will be slow or unresponsive while they are down. It also means purchasing from us will be difficult until things are remidied.
